Adobe Photoshop test

The Adobe Photoshop test is designed to assess a candidate’s proficiency in both basic and advanced design and editing techniques using Adobe Photoshop. Candidates will be tested on their understanding and practical use of key features such as image manipulation, digital painting, photo editing, and layout design. The test covers essential tools like layer management, blending modes, masking, path creation, and color correction, as well as advanced functions including smart objects, 3D tools, and actions for streamlined workflows.

Candidates will be asked to perform tasks involving image retouching, lighting and contrast adjustments, and creating complex compositions using multiple layers. A strong grasp of typography is required, including working with text layers, styles, and effects to seamlessly integrate text into designs.

In addition to technical expertise, candidates will be evaluated on their creativity and design sense, ensuring they can create compositions that adhere to good design principles like balance, alignment, contrast, and hierarchy. Time-saving techniques such as keyboard shortcuts, batch processing, and template creation will also be assessed. Lastly, candidates must demonstrate the ability to save and export images in various formats, optimized for different platforms such as print, web, and digital media, while maintaining the best quality and file size.
