Download the Chrome extension
Download the following file
Click the button below to download Happlicant's Chrome extension.
You'll then see a ZIP file in your downloads with random letters/numbers.
Extract/Unzip the file
Extract/ Unzip the ZIP file. You should now see a folder called "dist"—this contains everything you need.
Install the extension in Chrome
Open Google Chrome.
Click the puzzle icon (top right, next to the search bar) and select "Manage extensions".
In the top right, toggle "Developer mode" on (it should turn blue).
Then click "Load unpacked" and select (don't double click) the unzipped folder "dist".
Pin the extension
Make sure the Happlicant icon is always visible by clicking the pin icon next to it.
Log into your Happlicant account
Click the Happlicant extension and log in with your Happlicant credentials.

Configure your preferences
Click the settings (cog icon) inside the extension and choose your preferred layout—side panel or pop-up (we recommend the side panel).
Don't forget to click "Save Settings".
You're ready to go!
Head over to a LinkedIn profile—or refresh the page if you're already there—and start sourcing with Happlicant's Chrome extension.

Using the Chrome extension
Open the extension
To start adding candidates to your CRM or job pipelines, first open the Happlicant Chrome extension by clicking on the little icon to the right of the search bar of your Chrome browser.
Browse profiles
Navigate to LinkedIn. As you browse LinkedIn profiles, the Happlicant extension automatically updates based on the profile you're viewing—no need to refresh.
Add candidates to your CRM
With one click, add candidates directly to your CRM. We’ll pull in their title, experience, education, and more. If they're a first-degree connection, we’ll grab their contact details too.
Just hit “Save to Happlicant” and they’ll appear in your database almost instantly.
Add to jobs
Coming soon: Soon, you'll be able to add candidates to specific jobs or projects right from the extension—and even drop them into automated outreach sequences, all without leaving LinkedIn.
Notes and tags
Coming soon: Quickly add notes or apply tags from the extension.
Once a candidate’s saved, you’ll see your notes and tags appear in their profile within your database.
See your recent history
Click the clock icon (next to settings) to view your recently visited profiles.
