After being made redundant in early 2024, Chris quickly realized that job seeking was tough. But he also discovered that recruiters were struggling too.
Speaking with many of them, a few common frustrations emerged: they were wasting hours on admin instead of focusing on placements, struggling to find and assess the best talent, and often paying for tools that didn’t fully meet their needs.
That’s when it clicked—small agencies and independent recruiters needed more than just another ATS. They needed a customizable, all-in-one platform designed for agency management and growth.
So, Chris teamed up with his good friend Ricard (a superstar developer) to create Happlicant—a platform that automates the grind, streamlines the process of identifying top talent, and helps small agencies compete with the big players.
